This policy explains what MySitti collects, why, and the control you have over it. Short version: we collect what's needed to plan your trips, we don't sell personal data, and you can delete your account any time.
1. What we collect
- Account data — email, name, and password (stored hashed, never in plain text).
- Trip data — trips you plan, items you save or heart, questions you ask Sitti.
- Usage data — pages visited and features used, to improve the product.
- Approximate location— only if you allow it, to show what's happening near you.
2. What we use it for
- Running your account, Trip Board, and AI Companion.
- Personalizing recommendations (your saved styles and past trips make Sitti smarter for you).
- Improving MySitti — always with aggregated or de-identified data where possible.
3. What we never do
- Sell your personal data.
- Share your trip details with advertisers.
- Read your Sitti conversations for anything other than answering you and improving the service.
4. Third parties
When you click through to book, you leave MySitti and the booking platform's privacy policy applies. We share only what's technically needed for the link (like your search dates) — never your account identity. We use trusted processors for hosting, analytics, and email; each is bound by data-processing agreements.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and a small set of analytics cookies to understand what's working. You can manage non-essential cookies from the banner or your browser settings.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time — from account settings or by emailing privacy@mysitti.com. Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA), you may have additional rights; we honor requests from all users regardless of location.
